Who dressed up for Halloween?

Happy Halloween, everybody!

I’ve had a busy morning photographing Roxy in her costumes.

And there’s no way I could keep all this cuteness to myself.

Because all bitches deserve to wear tiaras!
Miss Universe and her crookedly placed crown?
Who's afraid of the big, bad wolf?
Mr. Wolf, bring it!

Do you dress up your pet for Halloween?

    1. Michael Ann, Roxy loves dressing up! Whenever she sees me pull out little clothes items that belong to her, she starts jumping up and down. She’s a little regular fashionista! :)

  1. Adorable photos! I’ve tried to dress Lola, but she bites at costumes. I can usually get her to wear a bandana, though. We’ll have to go somewhere today… me in my “Spooky” t-shirt and Lola with her orange and black bandana. Happy Halloween!

    1. Brynne, I’m so happy we’ve made Sofia giggle! Our work here is finished! hee hee! Happy Halloween to you and lovely Sofia! Besos! :)

  2. Roxy is positively regal! Love the shots. I will have to get clever with my dog, Rupert. He only has one jagged tooth left in his mouth so I already have one prop to work with.

    1. bwhahaha! OMG, Annie, you have made me laugh with your comment about Rupert’s one tooth! :) If you dress him up, you have to post a photo! I would love to see the old gent! :)

  3. Well, if Roxy came trotting up to my front door in that get-up, I’d shower her with queenly treats. (Has there ever existed a dog with such forbearance?) Happy Halloween to you both!

  4. On my way to work this morning (forgot my costume but not my skull and crossbones bracelet), I heard about a fundraiser for Under My Wing (a special rescue group for Pugs) and they talked about their upcoming Halloween custume party (for owners AND the pugs of course). It’s radio so there was no visual – but thanks to you (though I know Roxy is no pug!) I have one. I hope you all have a wonderful Halloween as well :)

    1. Astra, we’re delighted to have provided you with a visual! We love pugs! They are so adorable! I would definitely have dressed as a queen. That way we have half the royal court! hee hee! Happy Halloween to you, friend! :)

    1. Heidi, I’m certain Sanders is in doggie heaven stylin’ and profilin’ in a fedora! Tell me you have your tiara on, woman! :)

  5. What could be more fun than dressing up your pet for Halloween?! Our Aldo has been a pirate, cop, fireman, bum (yes, I said bum), angel, cowboy, gansta, formal man and superman. He is now 9. Need I say more?

    1. bwhahaha! Diane, I love it! And what is darling Aldo dressing up as this year? And you’re right, there’s nothing more fun than dressing up the furry friends! hee hee! :)

  6. Roxy is so cute!

There’s no Halloween where I live, and right now I have no pets, but Roxy certainly looks great!

Speaking of dressing up, drop by my blog if you wish to see knights in (somewhat) shiny armor, a girl in a medieval dress, and me holding a sword. :)

    1. Les, thank you for your kind words. I’m going to say yes to your question, but as you can see by the comments, you have to take a number and get in line! hee hee! :)

    1. Kim, I just read your comment to Roxy and would you believe she sighed? hee hee! She love you too, lovely lady! I’m so happy you like the photos! :)

  7. Roxy is sooooooo cute!!! I totally wish my cats would wear costumes. I have tons of costumes I want them to wear, but they HATE it! hahaha

    1. Megan, we are delighted you like the little outfit. You have no idea how difficult it was to get the tiara to stay on Roxy’s head! :)

    1. Chloe, and you being the stylish fashionista you are, imagine the cutesy outfits your doggie would wear! Roxy’s appreciative of your sweet words, lady! :)

  8. Roxy is such a cutie pie! Henry absolutely adores her and wishes he could have gone trick or treating with her.

Henry only has one costume, which isn’t meant to be a costume at all, but I put it on him tonight, all the same. It’s a football jersey that my son got for him. My son is a big football fan and now Henry is, too. You should see them together, watching the game, drinking beer (not Henry!) and yelling and/or barking at the TV. Pretty funny, if you ask me. ;)

    1. Monica, now that would have been the cutest thing ever–Henry and Roxy trick or treating! Aw, I’m smiling just thinking of it! Henry must look über handsome in his football jersey, and yes, that’s a costume! I can see the scene with Henry and your son and have to grin at the thought of them in front of the tv, each doing what they do best! Sweet! :) Roxy says, “Muchas gracias, Monica!”

  9. Awwwww, Roxy is soooo super-duper-cute! What an adorable little lady! Love her costume!
Regarding your question in the headline, Bella – I didn’t dress up for Halloween, as it is not as big in Germany. I mean we know about it and some people have Halloween costume parties and kids do trick or treating in some places, too, but it’s not particularly widely common over here. I love to decorate the house with Halloween motives in orange and black and white, though.

    1. Sabrina, thank you for your sweet compliment to Roxy! I understand exactly what you mean by countries in Europe not being very akin to the trick or treating bit. I am seeing more and more decorations in the stores as the years go by, though. I miss Halloween the way it’s celebrated in the States, especially seeing the children in their wonderful costumes. I can only imagine how festive house must be! :)

  10. That is so cute. I only dressed my dogs up once for Christmas, and they hated it. I thought we’d all look hilarious in tacky sweaters. Turned out the dogs couldn’t even stand to be in them long enough for a photo! I’ve retired my dog dressing days but love to see others’ attempts!

    1. Tiffany, really? Your girl doesn’t like dress up? Roxy totally loves her doggie clothes. Whenever my mom sends me a package, she dances around until she gets her present, which is usually an item of clothes. I guess that means that even dogs can be fashionistas! hee hee! :)
