Who killed Lupita Davenport?

Hello everyone,

Monica and I are busy piecing together clues, gathering evidence, and tying up loose ends in order to identify the killer in our stories.

Trust me when I tell you this is no easy feat considering your characters are so good!

We will be revealing the name of the murderer on Thursday, so please stay tuned.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you Monica’s wonderful “special effects” creation of Roxy’s photo.

Aren’t they great?

I would love it if you read our story and answered the following question:

Who killed Lupita Davenport?

Leave the killer’s name in the comment section!

XOXO,

    1. Imelda, without giving too much away, I’ve considered many of the points you’ve mentioned here! Thanks for your feedback! :)

  1. I love-love-love Roxy’s Photoshopped pictures; very artsy! :-)

I’m sorry I couldn’t participate more in the writing adventure, but look forward to reading the result. :-) xoxo

    1. Ellen, I thought the same thing–artsy! hee hee! My favorite is the tapestry effect! No worries, love. I had to get crafty with your character. I hope you approve! :)

  2. My money is on Susanna too, even though someone tried to pin it on Carmen. I know she had motive, but did she really have opportunity? And Susanna’s story about the “vomit and red wine” probably can’t be tested because the shoe in Annie’s “floatation device” will be well washed by now. But the photo… bet it’s the redhead!

    1. Sue, you pose some compelling arguments! I’m taking note of everything you’ve mentioned! I did notice how culpability was swayed Carmen, by the way! :)

  3. Denise Diamond! I love her and if a woman is willing undergo surgical alterations all for one dude, she’s not above planting a blade between the ribs.

Hilarious story!!! Well done, Monica & Bella.

    1. Lori, as always, you have me chuckling! Yes, our Denise Diamond is quite a number, isn’t she? I’m delighted you like the story, lady! :)

  4. There were just too many good, strong characters, all with a motive, that it’s hard to choose. And so many clever names! Bella, if you ask me, our readers are the most creative bunch of writers around!

    1. Monica, I wholeheartedly agree! The creativity of these writers is astounding! The names were one of my favorite parts of the story. hee hee! And you’re right–almost everyone had motive–but did they have opportunity? I’m going to have to employ my finest Sherlock Holmes skills for this one! :)

  5. What a photogenic little hound she is! Bella, sorry I couldn’t get involved with your murder mystery–too many other mysteries going on in my life right now! But how cool for you to give such creative opportunities to your readers. xxxxxxx

    1. Jann, I missed you on this one, lady! But of course I understand. No worries, bella. Next time? I hope readers enjoyed this “who dunnit” as much as I did. Roxy sends you a “bacione”! :)

  6. Roxy looks lovely in all her special effects! She looks lovely, period.

Does Roxy need a black head-to-toe thermal bathing suit? I have an extra 8).

Can’t wait for the outcome of our exciting voyage!

    1. Eloise, Roxy’s taking a raincheck on the black head-to-toe thermal bathing suit! hee hee! I think she’s a little miffed at me that furry friends weren’t allowed on board! ha! Just one more day and we shall reveal who the killer is! Stay tuned! :)

    2. Ooooh, thank you! I can’t remember the last time someone told me I was *smart*! You have wonderful timing – I’m having an I-can’t-think-of-anything-to-write day, which I find immensely annoying. Glad to know I’m funny as well. Sometimes I wonder if I’m just nuts 8).

Thanks much!! It’s raining here and I’m a little blue and your comment came at just the right time 8).

    3. Eloise, your character blew us away! You have shown us your talent, lady! There’s no going back now. Consider me a fan! But you already know that! Here’s hoping you have sunnier skies soon! :)

    4. Thanks, doing better. Sun is up, mentally and otherwise. Just posted a blog with actual pictures in it. I still need to do something about that springtime-where-I-am with pictures I owe you 8).

  7. What great pics of Roxy. They remind me of those artsy photos you can have done of yourself where they repeat your face over and over using different color blocks. She’s the next ‘pin up beauty’!
